歴史に残るWWE初の本格的女子シングルトーナメント戦「メイ・ヤング・クラシック」は日本代表カイリ・セインが優勝！宝城カイリのカリスマ性に目をつけたWWEはさすがです。あと「スターダム」小川社長も偉い！
世界各国で活躍する女子プロレスラー全32名を集めて開催された、WWE初の本格的女子シングルトーナメント戦「メイ・ヤング・クラシック」！日本の女子プロレス団体「スターダム（Stardom）」から移籍した宝城カイリ（カイリ・セイン）が見事優勝の栄誉を勝ち取りました！マジでやりましたね！
決勝はカイリ・セインと、UFCでも活躍し総合格闘技とプロレス両方でトップの地位にあるシェイナ・ベイズラーの間で行われました。
決勝は9月12日の「スマックダウンライヴ」ラスベガス大会の中で行われ、大観衆の中で「メイ・ヤング・クラシック」及び、カイリ・セインが初お披露目となりました。
リングサイドにはアランドラ・ブレイズを始め、過去にWWEで活躍したディーヴァや、トーナメントに参加した選手がドレッシーな装いでリングサイド観戦。
今後、WWEへの本格参戦も予定されているUFCのロンダ・ラウジーも「フォーフォース・ウィメン」の同志の応援のために正装で観戦。
全体的に格調の高い雰囲気の中での決勝戦となりました！
シェイナはハードヒットなキックやサブミッションでカイリを攻め込みますが、最後は必殺のダイビング・エルボードロップでカイリが見事勝利し、歴史に残る大会の第一回優勝者となりました。
実は筆者も今大会を通してはじめてカイリ・セインというレスラーの素晴らしいカリスマ性に気付きました。
今大会前、「スターダム」からはカイリ・セインだけでなく、紫雷イオもWWEに移籍するという噂がありました。実際、日本のプロレスファンの間ではカイリよりもイオの方がレスラーとしての評価は高いです。結局イオは首の怪我という理由で契約には至りませんでしたが、それを抜きにしても元々WWEはカイリとの契約がメインだったと聞きます。
今大会のカイリの活躍振りをみて、WWEのスカウト力の確かさに感心しました。
あと、今大会はトニー・ストーム、パイパー・ニーヴン、ジャジー・ガーベルト（アルファ・フィーメール）、テッサ・ブランチャードをはじめ「スターダム」に参加している外国人選手が多数参加していました。WWEのスカウト陣も「スターダム」の試合はきっとチェックしている事でしょう。
日本において、集客力に影響のない外国人女子レスラーをひたすら大量に来日させ続け、経験を積ませているスターダムの小川社長の功績も素晴らしいと思います。
今回のトーナメントを観て、女子プロレスファンになったWWEユニバースは「スターダム」の試合をチェックしてみる事もオススメします！

Indeed, among pro-wrestling fans in Japan, Io is more valued as a wrestler than Kairi. After all Io did not contract because of her neck injury, but I hear that WWE was originally a contract with Kairi even without it.
I was impressed with the certainty of WWE 's scout power, looking at Kairi's active success in this tournament.
Also, there are many foreign wrestlers participating in "Stardom" including Toni Storm, Piper Niven, Jazzy Gaber(Alpha Female), Tessa Blanchard and the tournament. The WWE scouts team will surely check "Stardom" events.
In Japan, I think that the achievement of President Hiroshi Ogawa of Stardom who continues to make a large number of Gaijin women's wrestlers not having an influence on the ability to attract visitors coming to Japan and has experience is also wonderful.
